Pilates
Pilates is a unique exercise system designed to stretch and strengthen the entire body while calming and quieting the mind.

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, the Method uses specially designed equipment as well as traditional mat work to restore and strengthen musculoskeletal balance. Practicing Pilates with our fully trained instructor will improve your posture and core stability, increase flexibility and develop long lean muscle tone. Pilates is also ideal for specific rehabilitation of many injuries and conditions. Our Floor Pilates focuses on the pain-free client wanting to increase strength, flexibility & tone. Our Clinical Pilates in the Studio focuses on the Physiotherapy client with sustained injury or residual issues from a previous injury.
These courses have commenced at Regional Physio in 2010. Each course will run for 6 weeks, once a week.
